The competition has been organized by the Gallery of Art in Legnica as the main event of the Jewellery Festival SILVER since 1979. It is one of the oldest initiatives to promote contemporary jewellery in Europe, supporting creative explorations within a niche field at the intersection of art, craft and design.
Each year the competition is held under a different title referring to important, universal problems and issues from the spheres of broadly understood art, culture, sociology, or media. This time we invited artists to discuss EMPATHY in jewellery.
