Investigating the relationship between our environment and inner lives, on our walkabouts,
we crossed Chatwin’s Songlines.
The story tells of this strange and magical land, a land steeped in deep-rooted history. The nomadic way of life of the indigenous people, threatened. Drawing mental maps transmitted through ritual songs, the aborigines wander the ancient boundaries, pathways and lines that crisscross their land connecting distant communities.
Searching for ancestors’ footprints, native myths,
the songs reveal the creation of the land and
the secrets of its past.
